The striking surface of the narrow peening anvil is hand polished to a near mirror shine to prevent fine edge cracking. Its geometry is a result of years of experimenting. Both during actual professional peening and teaching of peening classes. This shape allows you to peen merely by utilising the hammer weight without having to apply significant force to the peening hammer. The finished edge is very even which eliminates mowing friction and extends the edge sharpness life.
Weight 260g, total height 9.5 cm, height without tip 5 cm, width 3.6 cm.
Material: High carbon steel hardened to 48-55 HRC.
